Episode 219: X-Men Origins: Wolverine (with John Houzer)

We’re continuing the theme of “rebirth” on the podcast as we revisit one of the more maligned films in the X-Men cinematic universe. X-Men Origins: Wolverine was supposed to set up a new branch of films exploring…well, the origins of the X-Men. But this one was panned by both critics and audiences, so Fox did a reset and gave us First Class after instead. However, if you haven’t revisited Origins in a while, it may be time to do so because this one is probably better than you remember (minus that entire third act.)
