It's no coincidence that we had five Spooky Linings episodes this season, and the titular character of our final outing this month loves the number 5. That's right: we're discussing the fantastic 2021 Candyman requel from Nia DaCosta. Is Candyman a malicious boogeyman or a ghostly Black Batman? This movie aims to get to the bottom of it - sort of. Fantastic performances, amazing visuals, and incredibly music mostly make up for a (at times) muddled script.
